Chacarero - Brown Fields

I finished this quilt some time ago. I did not have a good picture of it, not that I can say that this is a good picture. I really like how this quilt looks. I took 2 rollos of fabric from Connecting Threads. I sorted light, medium and dark colors. Used the lights for the sashing and I paired the mediums and darks to make the blocks. The size of the quilt ended up being determined by the amount of light fabric I had available. I had extra blocks that are on the back (I´ll post a picture of the back soon). I added a little bit of improvisation on the blocks for  movement.

Esta colcha la terminé hace unos meses pero no me habia tomado el tiempo para sacarle fotos. Está hecha con dos rollos de tela precortada de Connectin Threads. Separé las telas por valores: claras, medias y oscuras. Usé las claras para enmarcar cada bloque y arme pares d etelas contrastantes para que los bloques tuvieran un buen efecto. El tamaño de la cocha fue determinado por la cantidad de telas claras que tenía a mano. Los bloques que sobraron están en la parte de atras. Luego pondré una foto de la parte de atrás y del capitoneado. Me inspiré en SillyBooDilly y usé dos colores de hilo. Ya pondré fotos de cerca.
